I'm hiring for a major player in custom electromechanical lifting equipment.

They're looking for a Supplier Quality Control Lead to join their Boisbriand team. A key role for someone passionate about quality, manufacturing, and technical precision.

Your Role
Review and approve initial quality documentation from suppliers: material certificates, ITPs, welding procedures, qualifications.
Conduct inspections at all key stages of the fabrication process: blasting, painting, machining, assembly.
Manage inspection reports, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
Participate in internal and external quality audits.
Perform dimensional and visual inspections of parts and assemblies.
Propose technical solutions in case of non-conformities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee calibration of inspection equipment.

Your Profile
3 to 5 years of experience in quality control in a similar industrial setting.
CSA W178.2 welding inspector certification required - NACE is a strong asset.
Strong ability to read mechanical drawings.
Knowledge of metrology, geometric tolerancing, and process statistics.
Fluent in French and English (daily communication with suppliers and clients in North America).
Initiative, attention to detail, strong communication, and teamwork.
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle - frequent travel required.
