- Welding various types of parts according to customer plans and specifications
- Preparing parts to be welded
- Properly setting up jigs according to established specifications
- Participating in various improvement projects
- Inspecting and verifying the quality of manufactured products
Requirements:
- Education: Completed vocational diploma (DEP) in welding and fitting
- Experience: 2 years or more
- CWB certification (an asset)
- Intermediate spoken and written French or English
- Good manual skills and dexterity
- Attention to detail and precision
- Sense of responsibility
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Ability to lift loads of up to 30 lbs
- Enjoys teamwork and challenges
What you'll get by working at QTG:
- Starting salary of $26.25, increasing to $27.86 after 2,000 hours
- 40 hours per week
- Evening shift over 4 days (Monday to Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.)
