Your Role With Us
You will play a key role in training people from all walks of life, whether beginners or experienced workers, using your expertise to help ensure their safety.
Prepare the Training
• Adapt content based on the participants' profiles (beginners, experienced workers, different industries)
• Check and inspect equipment before hands-on sessions (forklifts, aerial platforms, etc.)
Deliver the Training - Theory & Practice
• Train participants on forklifts, aerial work platforms, and boom lifts
• Explain current safety standards (CNESST, CSA, etc.)
• Supervise practical exercises attentively, ensuring both understanding and safety
Evaluate
• Administer written tests with patience and provide additional explanations as needed
• Offer tests in participants' preferred language, when possible
• Observe hands-on performance and assess skills rigorously
• Issue certificates in accordance with established procedures
Uphold OUFSST Standards
• Follow internal procedures: duration, content, materials, pedagogical guidelines
• Strictly apply quality and compliance requirements
Collaborate
• Take part in pedagogical discussions with the training team
• Work with the administrative team to ensure smooth training sessions
• Share your professional insights to help improve our practices
What We're Looking For
A patient, open-minded, and detail-oriented person
• Bilingual in French and English
• Comfortable working with diverse and multicultural groups
• Experience with lifting equipment or in training: a strong asset!
