Our client, a leader in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Data Scientist to join their team. As a Data Scientist, you will be part of the Medical Affairs department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Data Scientist
Location: Remote (Must be located and eligible to work in Canada)
What's the Job?
- Contribute to or lead statistical programming activities for Phase I to IV clinical trials.
- Develop and validate datasets, tables, listings, and figures (TFLs) according to specifications.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams (e.g., biostatistics, data management, clinical teams).
- Participate in team meetings and communicate programming progress and issues.
- Ensure audit readiness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
What's Needed?
- 5+ years of experience in working with Real World data / HTA analysis / clinical data for evidence generation.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with R / R-Shiny, including building complex applications.
- Experience working with clinical data and knowledge of CDISC terminology.
- Familiarity with clinical trials across Phases I-IV, especially Ph 3b / IV.
- Knowledge of Python and other open-source technologies/tools is desirable but not mandatory.
