Required Skills -

1. As an Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and configuring Microsoft WVD technologies including host pools WVD images and scaling

2. Manage Azure Active Directory for Azure WVD related systems

3. Manage and support Azure WVD Clusters HA systems

4. Analyze system performance indicators and recommend improvement actions for Azure WVD based production configuration

5. Have good knowledge of Azure WVD publishing applications web server load balancing Resource Manager License Management

6. Help in organization and management of the business applications that is installed on Azure WVD Improve and adjust Azure WVD

7. Provide technical assistance for all the servers desktops and services that apply to the deployed configuration

8. Take full control and accountability for applying implementing maintaining and examining the documentation of the Azure WVD

9. Troubleshoot DNS Service and DNS resolution issues

10. Assist in management and support of internal and external DNS systems

11. Act as a member of the Windows Active Directory Domain Administrator Support Team in providing timely and efficient support to assigned operations

12. Troubleshoot Active Directory authentication and LDAP configuration issues

13. Configure and support DNS for new domain

14. Research acute technical problems such as inconsistent email retention, cluster communication failures, and public folder replication issues

15. Minimum 5 years of experience with OS imaging, maintenance, and deployment.

16. Strong knowledge of the Microsoft System Center suite of products (SCCM, SCOM, VM).

17. Strong knowledge of Active Directory design and Group Policy administration.

18. Manage an Enterprise-wide Software Deployment strategy using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.

19. Build, maintain, and deploy standardized, current images of various Operating Systems on multiple HW platforms.

20. Support and update a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.

21. Use HP SIM to support remote heterogeneous, HW platforms.

22. Proactively monitors a production Microsoft infrastructure environment to ensure continued availability of the systems and services.

23. Provide 3rd level support to the Help Desk and Support teams via the resolution of escalated application, operating system, deployment, and hardware issues.

24. Document installation and configuration procedures.

25. Participate in multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

26. Support and monitor highly available solutions.

27. Completes maintenance and support actions for the production Microsoft technologies.

28. Develops processes to increase efficiency and automate regular maintenance of support actions.

29. Provides preventive maintenance by following established Change management and release management processes including planning maintenance schedules.

30. Maintains required compliance reports and scheduled delivery.

31. Able to develop various scripts to automate process by using a standard scripting language.
