Big Data Engineer - Remote (Canada, PST Hours)

We're hiring a Big Data Engineer to join our growing team! This is a remote role within Canada, but candidates must be able to work Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours.

What You'll Bring:

Solid experience with Big Data technologies including Apache Spark, Kafka

Strong programming background with Java and Scala (Object-Oriented Programming)

Hands-on knowledge of distributed systems, databases, and large-scale data pipelines

Deep understanding of data partitioning, optimization, and scalable architecture

Familiarity with Hadoop or similar big data ecosystems is a required
