We have an exciting opportunity with Trotec Laser Canada. We are looking for an Account Executive for our Materials division with extensive customer service background.
ANNUAL COMPENSATION - $45,000 to $50,000 CAD
Position Title: Account Executive - Materials
Department: Material Sales
Reports To: Regional Materials Manager
Location: Calgary, AB or Mississauga, ON
Key Responsibilities:
Increasing Turnover of Materials in the assigned region and maintaining a highly valued customer experience.
Essential Functions:
- Effectively manage and develop the assigned customer base and regional area to exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities through outbound emails, account management calls, lead generation, and follow-ups on website or web shop inquiries.
- Upsell products and services to maximize sale.
- Ensure customers receive regular and effective sales calls to maintain and grow business relationships.
- Provide timely and professional responses to customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities & customer interactions.
- Update and improve the database of prospects and existing clients, including details about client machinery, use of materials and who the decision-makers are.
- Provide regular sales reports and insights to the Regional Materials Manager.
Market Awareness and Knowledge:
- Stay informed about the Trotec Materials product offerings, services, and marketing initiatives
- Communicate/Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and market trends to stay competitive.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a related role.
- Proficient French speaker is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
- Proficient in using Salesforce (or other related CRM systems)
- Proficient in using SOP (Experience in using SAP is a plus)
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Knowledge of the laser and/or creative industry and related products is an advantage.
