Position Summary:

We're seeking a charismatic, well-connected, and results-driven Brand Ambassador to lead advocacy and brand-building efforts for a premium tequila across Ontario, with a core focus on the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

The ideal candidate is a passionate expert in spirits and hospitality, capable of forging strong, authentic relationships with bartenders, key trade partners, influencers, and consumers. This is not a direct sales role-it's about visibility, advocacy, and education.

You'll bring approachability, enthusiasm, and integrity to every interaction, working closely with commercial and marketing teams to amplify awareness and support account-level growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Trade Advocacy & Development (90%)

  • Serve as the face of the brand in-market, cultivating deep connections with bars, restaurants, and distributor teams
  • Deliver trainings, tastings, and trade events that authentically share the story and values behind the tequila
  • Co-create and implement on-premise programs and signature serves that drive trial and awareness
  • Champion best-in-class advocacy across key accounts, identifying growth opportunities in partnership with sales

Marketing & Consumer Engagement (10%)

  • Represent the brand at cultural events, festivals, trade shows, and consumer activations
  • Support menu development and event batching
  • Collaborate with local influencers, tastemakers, and content creators
  • Spot opportunities for earned PR, partnerships, and local storytelling

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience in spirits, brand advocacy, or hospitality
  • Strong knowledge and appreciation of tequila and agave culture (preferred)
  • Must reside in the GTA and be available for regular local travel and occasional out-of-town events
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Well-connected within Ontario's bar and hospitality scene
  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and adaptable
  • Personable, inclusive, and grounded in strong values

Additional Details:

  • Temporary contract through December 2025
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Some evening and weekend work required
