We are currently hiring a CCTV and Low Voltage Service Technician who will ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of our electronic security systems and networking, including installation, repair, and maintenance of alarms, surveillance cameras, access control, panel building and other security technologies. They will essentially the technical experts who ensure that security systems work as intended, protecting people and property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programming, troubleshooting and basic knowledge of all components of security systems. Ex: access control, analog & IP video surveillance, intercoms, networking, remote connections, etc.
• Conduit EMT installation, electric strike fitting/cutting, etc.
• Strong troubleshooting skills. Ability to quickly and efficiently narrow down issues.
• Able to read and understand manuals for installations and/or troubleshooting.
• Able to identify upgrade opportunities.
• Keep records updated.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Completion of High School diploma is mandatory.
• Technologist Certificate or Computer Networking Courses will be an asset.
• Minimum 5 years experience, installing, servicing and programming security systems, access control systems, instrusion systems and CCTV cameras.
• Knowledge of NVR and VMS is required.
• Superior trouble-shooting skills.
• Highly organized and attentive to detail.
• Strong computer skills.
