Middleware Integration Specialist - Boomi Focus

Role Overview:

As a Middleware Integration Specialist, you will lead the development, optimization, and support of integrations between Boomi (and PunchOut2Go/TradeCentric), Coupa, and multiple ERP platforms including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and Mincom. This role is instrumental in ensuring seamless, reliable, and scalable data flows across systems critical to procurement and financial operations.

Your responsibilities will center on maintaining and improving middleware integrations to support Coupa's quarterly release cycles and system upgrades, coordinating with ERP teams for patching and updates, and ensuring technical readiness and system performance. You will also collaborate closely with Coupa Regional Business Analysts to manage evolving business requirements that impact middleware configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

Boomi Integration:

• Administer Boomi processes (atoms, molecules) and monitor logs for master data and transactional flows.
• Manage and deploy changes to integrations, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot integration and process errors, escalate functional issues, and maintain MDM data integrity.
• Perform ongoing data alignment across Coupa, Boomi, TradeCentric, and ERPs.
• Drive monthly technical deployments across the three-tier environment and support Boomi-related system enhancements.

TradeCentric (PunchOut2Go):

• Manage data store and catalog route configurations.
• Resolve punchout errors between ERPs and Coupa.
• Coordinate with internal teams on integration failures and data feed disruptions.

Coupa Integration:

• Lead middleware configuration planning in response to Coupa development needs.
• Assess and document changes to middleware resulting from new Coupa business requirements.
• Ensure all system changes are captured in up-to-date technical documentation.
• Partner with analysts and business stakeholders to ensure reliable data architecture and information flow.

Performance & Support:

• Provide Level 2 support for performance management, monitoring alerts, and resolving incidents.
• Create help desk procedures, outage communication protocols, and test scripts.
• Support disaster recovery planning and uphold change management standards.

What You Bring:

• Education & Experience:
• Degree or diploma in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in IT, with strong hands-on experience in middleware administration (Boomi, )
• Coupa and Boomi developer-level certifications (or willingness to obtain within the first year).
• Technical Expertise:
• Understanding of Coupa's Source-to-Pay platform and ERP integration is great asset
• Familiarity with data governance, MDM, and end-to-end middleware lifecycle.
• Proficiency with performance monitoring tools and troubleshooting middleware/ERP integrations.
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience with analytics and reporting tools like Power BI.
• Strong documentation, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
