Project Summary:
This role supports the development of a new wealth management app tailored specifically for Canadian investors. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the digital experience across web and mobile platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams to design intuitive, accessible, and impactful user experiences. This position offers exposure across various lines of business and has the potential to evolve into a full-time opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Design B2B digital experiences for web and mobile platforms
- Lead user-centered design aligned with business goals and accessibility standards
- Conduct user research, create personas, journey maps, and prototypes
- Collaborate with product, tech, and business teams
- Deliver and maintain design assets and systems using tools like Figma
- Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG, AODA)
- Guide and mentor junior designers
- Stay updated on industry trends and tools
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in product/UX design
- Strong portfolio with end-to-end digital design projects
- Experience in financial services
- Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of WCAG, AODA, and web standards (W3C, Section 508)
- Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
- Strong communication, time management, and critical thinking skills
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field
