Insight Global is looking for a skilled Mainframe Storage Administrator to join a dynamic team. We are seeking a dedicated professional with a strong background in managing and optimizing IBM DS8000 SAN Storage systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for ensuring high performance and reliability in storage environments, and will be adept at analyzing and optimizing storage performance using a variety of tools. This role requires a proactive individual who can create and implement automation policies, diagnose and resolve storage-related issues, and perform hardware and software upgrades with minimal disruption. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting storage configurations, operational procedures, and incident reports, and will work closely with z/OS engineering teams, DBAs, and application teams to support and address storage needs. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 5 years + experience managing enterprise z/OS DS8950F SAN Storage subsystems with Encryption enabled in z/OS environment. • Good working knowledge of IBM Copy Services Manager setup / configuration • Good working knowledge of IBM Data Replication technologies such as : Metro - Global Mirror - Flashcopy • Good working knowledge of NetView / SA390 to manage GDPS inter-site data replication • Working knowledge of VSAM, GDG, tape management concepts • Familiarity of JCL, ISPF, TSO/E, and REXX / CLIST skills an asset • Knowledge of mainframe utilities : IEBGENER, IDCAMS , IEHLIST • Working knowledge of GDPS Replication / HyperSwap concepts for disaster recovery Good working knowledge configuring Inter-Site Data Replication processes.

Previous experience in a banking environment
