Pay Rate - $18.00 - $21.94 per hour
About the Role
As an Assistant Retail Manager, you'll play a vital role in keeping our university bookstore or convenience store running smoothly. You'll assist the store manager with supervising daily operations, from scheduling staff to ensuring excellent customer service. This includes training team members, managing merchandise (receiving, checking, and displaying), and conducting regular audits of cash and accounting functions to maintain compliance. You'll also work closely with various internal partners like store operations, AP, HR, and training to ensure seamless store functions.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent is preferred
- 1 to 3 years of retail or bookstore experience are preferred
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred
- Computer proficiency is required
- Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written
