Responsibilities:
Role: responsible for identifying business needs and determining solutions to business problems. Senior and Intermediate Business Analysts analyze data, processes, and systems to provide insights and recommendations, facilitating communication between stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are met effectively. Tasks in the scope of this role could include:
- Developing and documenting formal requirements documentation, data models and process models;
- Scoping, planning, managing and executing all aspects of business analysis including all of the following:
- Conducting requirements elicitation with internal and external stakeholders,
- Translating business requirements into system and functional requirements,
- Facilitating joint application development (JAD) session and acting as facilitator during workshops,
- Managing requirements in an agile development environment: writing user stories, managing a backlog, participating in scrum meetings, and
- Establishing acceptance test criteria with clients;
- Performing business analysis of functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows;
Evaluating and documenting existing procedures and methods, database content, application structures, application subsystems and data dictionaries
- Identifying candidate business processes for re-design, providing trade-off information and suggesting a recommended course of action;
- Identifying modifications to automated processes;
- Supporting and using the selected departmental methodologies; and
- Providing support in analyzing, evaluating and controlling risks, especially related to requirements.
Deliverables:
Business Analyst
- Requirements elicitation reports;
- Requirements analysis, scoping documents, capability maps, gap analyses, presentations;
- Requirements documentation: functional and non-functional specifications, requirements, business rules, decision logs;
- Business cases and concept cases;
- Model diagrams for process, data and workflows;
- Data dictionaries and data models;
- User stories and acceptance criteria.

Experience as Intermediate Business Analyst
The Contractor must demonstrate, using Reference Project(s) that the proposed resource for Senior Business Analyst, has a minimum of sixty (60) months of experience within the past one hundred twenty (120) months as of the TA request date as a Business Analyst - Level 2 in accordance with the TBIPS Supply Arrangement EN578- 170432 series.
To demonstrate such experience, the Contractor must provide one (1) or more Reference Project(s) as defined in Section
1.0 of this appendix.

Business Analysis Activities
The Contractor must demonstrate, using Reference Project(s) that the proposed resource for Senior Business Analyst, has a minimum of sixty (60) months of experience within the past one hundred twenty (120) months of the TA request date in performing all the following functions:
- business analysis of business processes;
- documenting functional and non- functional requirements;
- producing formal documentation;
- creating data models; and
- creating process models.
To demonstrate such experience, the Bidder must provide 1 or more Reference Project(s) as defined in Section 1.0 of this appendix.

Stakeholder Engagement Activities
The Contractor must demonstrate, using Reference Project(s) that the proposed resource for Senior Business Analyst, has at least sixty (60) months of experience working collaboratively with Project Stakeholders, performing all of the following activities:
- Conducting requirements elicitation with internal and external stakeholders;
- Facilitating joint application development (JAD) sessions; and
- Acting as facilitator during workshops.
To demonstrate such experience, the Bidder must provide 1 or more Reference Project(s) as defined in Section 1.0 of this appendix.
