Altis is proud to partner with one of our most prestigious financial services organizations, with expertise in pension derisking, to hire a Senior Associate, Onboarding & Client Experience.

Reporting directly to the Director, PRT Operations, Onboarding & Client Experience, you will play a pivotal role in the client activation process for recent acquisitions. Your expertise will be crucial in understanding the complexities of new business, safeguarding the interests of internal teams, intermediaries, clients, and annuitants alike.

This is a full time, peramanent role that will require a minimum of 3 days on site in downtown Toronto (Bay & Adelaide).

Candidates MUST have DEFINED BENEFIT PENSION experience to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project coordination and delivery for multiple onboarding processes, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Oversee data reconciliation and establish data requirements for new client setups.
  • Manage annuitant communication and review welcome packages.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with large consulting firms, clients, and outsourcing partners.
  • Understand unique client needs and navigate complex pension details through collaborative efforts.
  • Ensure new business is set up for success, leading to error-free ongoing operations.

What You Bring:

  • Experience in pension plan and/or group annuity administration.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French.
  • High proficiency in data literacy and analytical thinking.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and resourcefulness.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Education:

  • Bachelor's / University degree or equivalent experience.
  • PPAC and/or CEBS and/or ASA designations are highly valued.
  • Bilingual skills (English/French) are preferred.
