Job Description
We are hiring a Mobile Technician for a 6-week contract supporting our retail client in the Saskatoon area. This is an exclusive opportunity to join a leading facilities services provider and work independently in a hands-on maintenance role.
You will be responsible for general maintenance, planned preventative work, and minor troubleshooting across 5 store locations (3 in Saskatoon, 1 in Prince Albert, 1 in Kindersley).
What You'll Do
- Perform general maintenance and minor repairs on building systems and equipment.
- Complete work orders and planned maintenance tasks.
- Travel daily to a different store location (mileage reimbursed if applicable).
- Troubleshoot minor issues with HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and more.
- Use a work order system to log completed tasks and update progress.
- Operate independently with minimal supervision.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in building or facility maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort with general repairs
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic computer skills (familiarity with work order systems is a plus)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
Nice to Have
- Background in trades (HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing)
- Exposure to Power Engineering rules or training
- Previous experience in a mobile or field-based role
