Here at Aplin we are seeking a driven and relationship-oriented Modular Home Sales Professional to join our Client's growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential or modular home sales, with proven experience engaging Indigenous clients, particularly within First Nations communities. This role requires a consultative sales approach, cultural sensitivity, and a strong understanding of the modular housing process-from design through delivery and installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and develop new sales opportunities for modular homes in First Nations communities and other markets.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with Indigenous leaders, band councils, and housing authorities.
  • Conduct needs assessments and provide tailored housing solutions that meet community priorities and cultural considerations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (design, logistics, construction, and project management) to deliver end-to-end housing projects on time and within scope.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations to key decision-makers.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, pipeline updates, and sales progress using CRM tools.
  • Stay current on Indigenous housing programs, funding sources, and government initiatives (e.g., CMHC, ISC).
  • Attend trade shows, community engagement sessions, and relevant industry events to promote the company's offerings.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience preferably in modular, residential, or manufactured home sales.
  • Demonstrated experience working with First Nations communities or Indigenous organizations is highly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with cultural awareness and respect for Indigenous traditions and values.
  • Strong business development and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly to remote and rural communities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, site preparation, and permitting is an asset but not required.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
