Job Description

Carousel is looking for a proactive, consultative Account Executive to help us scale our modular data collection platform across the fintech and lending landscape. Youll be responsible for managing the full sales cycle-from prospecting and discovery to demo, negotiation, and close.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in technical sales environments and can confidently pitch products that involve data integrations, APIs, and secure infrastructure. Youll work closely with Sales Engineers, Product, and Design to shape deals that meet customer needs while moving fast.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Sales Ownership

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities across lenders, fintechs, and data-centric organizations.
  • Lead discovery calls to understand client pain points and align Carousels capabilities.
  • Deliver tailored product walkthroughs in collaboration with Sales Engineers.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with confidence, always aligning to client value.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build trust with operations, product, and technical decision-makers on the client side.
  • Act as the customers advocate internally-bringing feedback to Product and Engineering.
  • Develop long-term relationships that turn new clients into flagship accounts.

Pipeline & Execution

  • Manage your pipeline in HubSpot (or equivalent CRM) with accurate forecasting.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Leadership to refine outbound campaigns and pitch strategy.
  • Continuously iterate on messaging and positioning based on industry feedback.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of full-cycle B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or API-based platforms.
  • Proven success selling to operations, compliance, or technical teams.
  • Strong communication skills-you can simplify technical ideas and pitch business value clearly.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to prioritize, execute, and close deals independently.
  • Experience working in or selling to startups, lenders, or regulated businesses is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with tools like Flinks, Plaid, KYC/IBV providers, or open banking concepts.
  • Experience selling products that involve integrations or modular setup.
  • Comfortable working with Sales Engineers to handle technical objections.
  • Exposure to the lending, leasing, or financial services industries.
