With new ownership ushering in an exciting period of transformation, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team, drive performance, and uncover new growth opportunities in a dynamic and evolving industry.

About the Role:

Reporting to senior leadership, the Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in executing the sales strategy while fostering strong customer relationships and implementing sales strategies that support business growth. This role leads a team of Territory Managers and works cross-functionally to ensure alignment with company goals.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the development and execution of high-impact national and territory-specific sales strategies that align with business objectives and deliver measurable growth.
  • Drive sustainable revenue growth by identifying strategic opportunities, optimizing sales planning, and building a robust business development pipeline.
  • Expand market reach by proactively identifying and cultivating new markets, key clients, and strategic partnerships that support long-term organizational success.
  • Oversee the development and management of sales budgets, revenue forecasts, and tactical execution plans, ensuring alignment with overall corporate goals.
  • Inspire, coach, and mentor a team of Territory Managers, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and sales excellence.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring evolving industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity, and translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing to synchronize sales initiatives with product launches, promotional campaigns, and market-entry strategies.
  • Establish clear KPIs and performance benchmarks, using dashboards and regular reporting to drive accountability, transparency, and informed decision-making.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years in a sales management role (manufacturing, packaging, or construction industry preferred)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze trends and drive growth
  • Proficiency with productivity tools (Google Workspace or similar)
  • Sales certification (e.g., Certified Professional Sales Person) considered an asset
