Lionel Davidson Holdings/Bertrand Brands Ltd is a founder-led company focused on building long-term, brand-driven ventures rooted in place, purpose, and creative integrity. We're developing our first business - currently in concept phase - which blends sustainability, design, and hospitality in a new and locally anchored way.

This is a ground-floor opportunity to co-create something meaningful. The business is still pre-launch, and compensation will be co-developed between founders as the venture grows. This is a partnership role, not a salaried position.

About the Role

As Co-Founder, you'll work directly with the founder to build the first venture from the ground up. Your focus will be on operations, systems, and execution - helping translate vision into structure and bringing the business to life.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Helping shape the business model and launch plan

- Building internal systems and processes

- Leading operations, vendor setup, and team coordination

- Supporting budgeting, grant research, and financial modeling

- Co-creating team culture, hiring approach, and internal structure

- Taking ownership of key projects and deliverables

Qualifications

We're looking for someone with a builder's mindset - calm under pressure, systems-minded, and team-oriented.

Ideally, you:

- Have experience managing operations, logistics, or early-stage business systems

- Are comfortable in high-autonomy, low-structure environments

- Are willing to collaborate on everything from budgeting to hiring

- Are based in (or open to relocating to) Northern Ontario

- Understand that co-founding means shared risk, shared reward
