33 Acres Brewing Co. is looking for a passionate, experienced and hard working brewer/cellar worker to join our production team!

This position primarily includes wort production and cellaring on scheduled, rotating shifts between 33 Acres and 33 Brewing Experiment. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, mechanically minded, team oriented and organized. They will be able to quickly train in our cellar and brewhouse, learn our SOPs, and work while adhering to 33 Acres' specifications.

Position Summary

Wort production on a 20hL brewhouse with multiple turns per shift.

Cleaning and general maintenance of the brewhouse and associated equipment.

Cellaring, including, tank CIP's, dry hopping, transfers, yeast harvesting and basic lab work.

Maintaining detailed records as dictated by task and production schedule.

Participating in team meetings, improving effectiveness, safety, quality, consistency, and communication.

Reporting issues with production equipment, product, or raw materials immediately .

Assisting with other brewery operations as needed including packaging, logistics, QA/QC, and R&D.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast paced Cellar, showing a strong focus and ability on time management, multitasking and attention to detail.

Proven production brewery experience.

Minimum 1 year experience on brewhouse, including milling, mashing and transferring wort.

Confidently work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to maintain a clean work environment.

Ability to bend over, twist, kneel, stand for the duration of a shift, lift 25kg, and maneuver 150kg repeatedly.

Safe handling of hazardous materials and operation of complex machinery.

At least 1 year experience operating a forklift.

Must possess excellent communication skills.

Must have a valid work permit in Canada.
