We are looking for a Junior Procurement Coordinator for a 6 months contract with high possibility of extension. Role is hybrid with 3 days a week on site in Vaughan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process purchase orders, contracts, and intake forms through systems like ServiceNow and Oracle.
- Support vendor onboarding, maintain supplier documentation, and ensure compliance with policies.
- Track and resolve procurement issues, including cost discrepancies and invoice errors.
- Coordinate RFx processes, meetings, and evaluations with internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Maintain procurement trackers, reports, and databases to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Assist with contract and document reviews, approvals, and filing.
- Support cross-functional teams with budget validation, spend justifications, and approvals.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with SLAs.
- Participate in cost-saving initiatives and support strategic sourcing projects.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in procurement or administration.
- Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint); experience with ServiceNow, Oracle, or PowerBI is an asset.
- Working toward CSCMP or other supply chain certifications is a plus.
