We are seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic ITSM team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across the full ServiceNow platform, with deep knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), CSDM, and Service Portal development. You will be responsible for developing and configuring ServiceNow solutions, supporting platform upgrades, and ensuring smooth operation and optimization of MID servers and integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform, including custom applications and integrations.
- Support and manage platform upgrades ensuring minimal disruption and full compliance with best practices.
- Develop and maintain Service Portal pages and widgets using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
- Implement and support ITAM and CMDB modules, aligning them with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- Configure and monitor MID Servers for Discovery, integrations, and Orchestration use cases.
- Collaborate with architecture, operations, and functional teams to ensure successful delivery of platform capabilities.
- Write clean, scalable code and scripts (e.g., JavaScript, Glide, Flow Designer), ensuring adherence to ServiceNow development standards.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum practices including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and demos.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support for existing ServiceNow implementations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Proficient in JavaScript, Glide API, REST/SOAP integrations, and ServiceNow scripting.
- Strong experience in ITAM, CMDB, and understanding of CSDM frameworks.
- Expertise in Service Portal development and customization.
- Experience with MID server setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated experience in ServiceNow platform upgrades and impact analysis.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and enterprise service management processes.
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CIS-ITSM, CIS-Discovery, or CIS-ITAM are a strong plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.
- Familiarity with other ServiceNow modules such as Discovery, Orchestration, or SAM.
- Knowledge of integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Azure Logic Apps) is an asset.
