Job Title: Systems Administrator

Location: Toronto ON

Reports To: IT Manager

Our client is looking for a Systems Administrator to manage and support IT infrastructure in a manufacturing environment. Key duties include managing networks, servers, automation software, and CAD support, while ensuring system security and uptime.

Responsibilities:

• Manage network devices, VPNs, VLANs, and firewalls
• Monitor and troubleshoot network and server performance
• Maintain backups, disaster recovery, and security compliance
• Support manufacturing systems (SAP, MES, Rockwell, Omron)
• Provide CAD and automation software support
• Automate tasks using scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
• Administer Linux and Windows Server environments
• Provide technical support and maintain documentation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 5+ years' experience in systems administration
• CCNA or CCNP certification required
• Experience with NetApp, VMware, and Systems Engineer certification preferred
