Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to drive expansion and uncover new market opportunities.
- Lead strategic client initiatives, craft customized proposals, and secure high-value partnerships.
- Foster a culture of performance and development through mentorship, delegation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Effectively engage and align internal and external stakeholders using persuasive and empathetic communication.
- Cultivate a strong network of industry contacts and stay ahead of market dynamics to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Manage forecasting, resource allocation, and performance metrics to ensure strategic execution and accountability.
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, quality standards, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree or other postgraduate education is a strong asset.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in business development and sales within the food industry, with leadership roles in mid-to-large-sized organizations.

- Skilled at leading change, gaining stakeholder alignment, and building credibility across all organizational levels.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

- Full bilingual proficiency in French and English (spoken and written) is required.
- Ability and willingness to travel across Canada with a flexible and responsive schedule.
