The Intermediate Insurance Advisor will be responsible for providing exceptional service and insurance solutions tailored to personal and light commercial auto needs. This role offers a mix of client-facing engagement and behind-the-scenes problem-solving, all within a positive, supportive work environment.
Intermediate Insurance Advisor responsibilities:
- Conduct needs assessments and recommend insurance solutions tailored to client risk profile
- Provide clear, confident explanations of coverage options, pricing, and policy term
- Apply sound judgment to classify and bind appropriate coverage
- Promote relevant membership programs and perks
- Collaborate with underwriting on custom or complex cases
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements
- Maintain strong performance across service quality, client satisfaction, and productivity targets
The successful candidate has:
- 3+ years of experience in the insurance industry (personal lines required; light commercial is a plus)
- High school diploma (post-secondary education is a strong asset)
- A valid Level 2 General Insurance Agent License (required)
- Strong product knowledge in auto and property insurance
- Proficiency with insurance systems (e.g., Guidewire or equivalent)
- A collaborative, client-first mindset with excellent communication skills
Compensation and benefits:
- The discussed salary range is $52,000 - $64,000, depending on experience
- Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
