The Intermediate Insurance Advisor will be responsible for providing exceptional service and insurance solutions tailored to personal and light commercial auto needs. This role offers a mix of client-facing engagement and behind-the-scenes problem-solving, all within a positive, supportive work environment.

Intermediate Insurance Advisor responsibilities:

  • Conduct needs assessments and recommend insurance solutions tailored to client risk profile
  • Provide clear, confident explanations of coverage options, pricing, and policy term
  • Apply sound judgment to classify and bind appropriate coverage
  • Promote relevant membership programs and perks
  • Collaborate with underwriting on custom or complex cases
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements
  • Maintain strong performance across service quality, client satisfaction, and productivity targets

The successful candidate has:

  • 3+ years of experience in the insurance industry (personal lines required; light commercial is a plus)
  • High school diploma (post-secondary education is a strong asset)
  • A valid Level 2 General Insurance Agent License (required)
  • Strong product knowledge in auto and property insurance
  • Proficiency with insurance systems (e.g., Guidewire or equivalent)
  • A collaborative, client-first mindset with excellent communication skills

Compensation and benefits:

  • The discussed salary range is $52,000 - $64,000, depending on experience
  • Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
