Reporting into the Director, Program Management, this role is critical to scaling how we plan, execute, and communicate across teams.

The TPM will serve as the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, Design, Commercial, and other business stakeholders-ensuring alignment, clarity, and execution discipline. You'll be expected to manage multiple programs simultaneously, anticipate risks before they arise, and bring structure and calm to complexity while supporting Swift's mission to Heal Our World Swiftly.

What You Will Do:

Program Planning & Execution

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of key strategic programs and product initiatives
  • Work with product and engineering leads to define requirements, scope, dependencies, timelines, and success metrics
  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, detailed schedules, and clear milestones
  • Drive the team through Agile/Scrum processes and continuous delivery cadences
  • Ensure programs adhere to company security and compliance requirements for healthcare software

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Partnership

  • Facilitate alignment across technical and non-technical teams, ensuring everyone is rowing in the same direction
  • Lead regular program syncs, standups, and reviews to track progress, resolve blockers, and reinforce ownership
  • Document decisions, risks, dependencies, and timelines in a centralized and accessible format
  • Act as the single point of truth for program status, proactively escalating when plans go off track
  • Build trusted relationships with clinical, commercial, and technical stakeholders
  • Effectively navigate competing priorities and negotiate resource allocation
  • Represent the technical team's constraints and requirements to business stakeholders
  • Occasionally engage with key customers to represent program status or gather feedback

Visibility & Reporting

  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide clear visibility to senior leadership
  • Synthesize updates across teams and communicate program health, risks, and trade-offs with precision
  • Build executive-facing materials that enable strategic decisions based on program insights
  • Provide regular status updates with appropriate level of detail for different stakeholder groups

Risk & Compliance Oversight

  • Proactively identify program risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Maintain appropriate documentation for healthcare software compliance needs (FDA, HIPAA)
  • Develop contingency plans for critical path risks and dependencies
  • Ensure programs adhere to regulatory requirements for medical technology

Process Optimization

  • Identify and implement ways to continuously improve program delivery processes, tooling, and collaboration workflows
  • Champion best practices in technical program management and delivery
  • Help establish operational excellence as a core competency across the Product & Engineering organization
  • Contribute to the development of repeatable processes that scale with company growth

Impact & Success Metrics

  • Drive on-time delivery of technical programs with 90%+ adherence to planned milestones
  • Reduce cross-team dependencies and bottlenecks by 30% through improved planning and communication
  • Establish measurable improvement in engineering efficiency and predictability
  • Contribute to improved customer satisfaction through successful technical initiatives
  • Meet or exceed established 30/60/90 day onboarding and performance goals

What You Bring To Swift:

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a Program Manager, Project Manager, or Delivery Lead in a technology environment
  • Deep understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and release planning
  • Strong technical acumen (you don't need to code, but you should be fluent in engineering concepts and comfortable in technical conversations)
  • Experience managing programs with distributed teams, complex interdependencies, and multiple workstreams
  • Exceptional communication skills (able to synthesize complex ideas and deliver clear, concise updates to technical and executive stakeholders)
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, ADO, Confluence, Notion, Miro, or similar
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and drive outcomes across organizational boundaries

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and microservices architectures
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements for healthcare software development
  • Understanding of Swift's core technologies or similar medical imaging/data processing applications

Cultural Alignment & Swift Values

  • Demonstrate a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset in line with Swift's values
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift quickly
