POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Located in the heart of the new Solar district in Brossard, Jazz Brossard is delighted to welcome a select clientele, whether independent or experiencing a loss of autonomy. It offers a warm and friendly atmosphere where we feel right at home. We are currently seeking a dedicated, dynamic, and passionate recreation leader.

Permanent, full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, daytime from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the leisure manager in their duties
• Carry out all related tasks requested by the recreation manager
• Collaborate with the different departments of the residence to make things easier for everyone
• Disseminate the activities calendar to residents

Recreation

• Animate and oversee supervision during the activities
• Decorating the premises for special events
• Promote activities related to the residents
• Welcome the residents and invite them to participate in the activities

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Training related to the leisure sector (an asset)
• Relevant experience of at least one year in a similar position
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (an asset)
• Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
