The Job Duties will include: Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems Measure, bend, cut and thread pipes using machines and hand tools Cut opening in walls and floors to fit pipes Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges Install, repair and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, Locate and mark positions passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors. Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment May prepare cost estimates. Job Requirements: Secondary School Four-five-year apprenticeship program or 2-3 years of work experience. Terms of employment: Wage: $35/hour Job Location: Based out of A Street, Surrey, British Columbia - V3S 8S1, will require travel to various construction sites and locations in Lower Mainland only Hours: 40 hours per week.
