Sr. Systems Administrator

As a Sr. Systems Administrator, you'll play a critical role in maintaining, optimizing, and supporting the company's on-premise and cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate across departments-including product management, development, support, and project teams-to ensure the performance, availability, and security of all systems. You will contribute to troubleshooting customer-facing issues, refining internal IT processes, and managing a hybrid environment that blends traditional system administration with modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in systems administration, CloudOps, or IT infrastructure roles
- Solid understanding of networking technologies, cloud load balancers, and firewalls
- Experience with core infrastructure services: LDAP, Active Directory, DNS, SMTP, etc.
- Familiarity with service monitoring and messaging tools such as Nagios, Spectrum
- Experience in provisioning systems and managing access/security in cloud environments
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools and basic administrative experience with Jira and Confluence
- In-depth understanding of cloud computing (Azure, AWS, HCI, Nutanix) and hybrid infrastructures
- Strong grasp of cloud security principles: IAM, policies, security groups, encryption keys
- Proficiency in TCP/IP networking and protocols (DNS, routing, L3/L7, etc.)
- Experience with enterprise storage (Dell, NetApp)
- Proficient in Windows Server and Active Directory administration
- Understanding of networking protocols and services (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP)
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies and troubleshooting virtual environments
- Data center migration experience is a strong plus
- Experience managing cloud-based DNS (Cloudflare, Route 53)
- Scripting and automation experience, especially using APIs (e.g., Cloudflare API)
- Familiarity with HTTP, TLS, and CDN technologies
- Windows Server certification (MCSE or equivalent) is desirable
- Experience with network security in Windows and Cisco environments
