Web Application Developer - Cloud Full Stack

CONTRACT LENGTH: June 26, 2025 - March 31, 2026

HOURLY RATE: $73.61 -80/hr

LOCATION: 3755 Riverside Drive, Ottawa, N, K1H 4K9 ( onsite)

REQUIRED: Active Federal Secret Clearance

Your New Role

You will take on the position of Application Developer - Cloud Full Stack, contributing to complex, modern web development projects. This is an on-site role in Ottawa, where you will work closely with stakeholders on mission-critical public sector initiatives. The position requires handling technology subject to Export Regulations sanctions, so eligibility criteria apply.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Citizenship/Residency: Canadian citizen or Canadian Permanent Resident. Dual/third nationality must be from an approved list of countries.
  • Security Clearance: Active Canadian Federal Government Security Clearance - Secret level.
  • Experience: 8+ years in software development.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in C and/or C++, or in modern, complex full-stack web development using JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular/React, and Node.js.
  • Strong understanding of integration and design patterns.
  • Experience with full-stack development, including database frameworks such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of security and security by design principles.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and agile methodologies, including test-driven development.
  • Previous experience with Department of National Defence (DND) or other federal client projects is an asset.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with TypeScript and Python.
