JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is looking for a BTP Developer to support one of North Americas largest agricultural companies. The successful candidate will be in charge of developing & deploying APIs in BTP API Management, configuration of Traffic Management, Mediation, Extension & Security policies. They will be in charge of sustaining the live Integrations, maintenance of the SAP BTP Integration platform, and resolving the assigned Service Now Incidents within the defined SLAs. This role will give preference to candidates located in Calgary who can come into the office 2 days/week. If not, it can be fully remote. This is a 3-month contract to start with a high possibility of extensions as the project is set to be 1.5 years in length.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-5+ years of SAP Integration development experience in CI/CPI/HCI, API Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors is a must
-2+ SAP full life-cycle implementations in the integration using SAP & non-SAP domains including cloud and on-premises systems
-Must have working experience in ABAP Proxies, SOAMANAGER, RFC, IDOC, XML, ALE configuration, Partner profiles, Ports, Enhancements, error processing & troubleshooting, Integration issues
-Experience using data mapping tools
- Message Mapping, Groovy script, XSLT mapping, EDI and XML, Proxies, interface definitions, JSON and XSD data types -Experience debugging message mappings
-Must have an understanding of S/4HANA and SAP LoBs. SAP NetWeaver architecture and related business processes
-Ability to debug and write both ABAP and Groovy code lines with respect to integration.
-A basic understanding of JAVA skills in the context of SAP integration is required
-Experience with the configuration and implementation of CI/PI/PO adapters (IDoc, RFC, JDBC, File, SOAP, WS, JMS, HTTP, REST and SOAMANAGER, Proxy)
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-SAP Certification in SAP SIS and/or PI/PO
-Understanding of cloud connector and network connections
-Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture
