We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior DevOps Engineer - Support to join our growing technology team in Montreal. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with internship/early career experience looking to build a career in DevOps and data infrastructure. You'll work closely with senior engineers to support and improve critical data systems, drive automation, and ensure operational excellence in a bilingual (French & English) environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve the Data Hub ecosystem, including alerts, dashboards, and issue resolution workflows.
• Assist with automation initiatives to reduce manual effort, boost system reliability, and streamline data pipeline operations.
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines used in data integration and deployment.
• Collaborate with development, data, and operations teams to ensure performance, observability, and traceability of systems.
• Help troubleshoot and resolve production issues, documenting findings and implementing improvements based on root cause analysis.
• Log and track incidents using tools like JIRA or ServiceNow, contributing to ongoing reliability improvements.
• Participate in a light on-call rotation (approx. 3 hours/month) with mentorship and support from senior engineers.

Who You Are:

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong interest or experience (internship/co-op acceptable) in DevOps, DataOps, or IT operations.
• Familiar with SQL and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Exposure to ETL/ELT tools like Matillion or SSIS is a plus.
• Comfortable working with version control (GitHub) and basic CI/CD practices.
• Interest in observability, monitoring, and tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or similar.
• Bilingual in French and English - strong verbal and written communication in both is required.
• Enthusiastic about continuous learning and able to work independently or as part of an agile team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience using cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with incident management tools such as JIRA or ServiceNow.
• Understanding of data workflows and pipeline orchestration.
