We're looking for two experienced engineers with a development or technical background who can hit the ground running in a high-demand, collaborative team environment. The role is offered as an initial 6-month contract, with the intention of converting to a permanent full-time position. Candidates must be available to work in a hybrid capacity from our Downtown Toronto office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain test environments for online applications.
- Troubleshoot environment issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Manage and interact with OCP (OpenShift Container Platform) within Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Perform Linux-based operations including command-line troubleshooting, scripting, and navigation.
- Work with GitHub for version control, configuration, and environment setup.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and project teams to ensure seamless feature integration and testing.
- Monitor performance, availability, and stability of test environments.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of hands-on technical experience in an engineering or development role.
- Strong Linux expertise (command-line usage, troubleshooting, scripting).
- Experience working with OCP (OpenShift) in a cloud environment (preferably Azure).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (GitHub).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot environment and deployment issues.
- Comfortable navigating and working in high-demand, fast-paced technical teams.
Preferred/Bonus Skills:
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks or environment orchestration tools.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, or similar container tools.
- Scripting in Bash, Python, or other common automation languages.
