Reporting Analyst - Data Automation & Analytics
Location: Onsite in Toronto, ON (100 Yonge St) - 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday)

About the Role
We're seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Reporting Analyst to support the evolution and automation of capacity reporting in a commercial banking context. You'll work within a small, high-performing team focused on optimizing reporting infrastructure and ensuring seamless business handover of automated analytics processes.
About the Team
You'll be joining a collaborative 5-person team that leads Commercial Banking Capacity Reporting & Analytics. The team values efficiency, technical excellence, and the ability to transition tools and reporting from technology teams to business owners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead simplification and automation efforts for BFS AMP reporting tools, including transitioning to business-owned management
- Automate ETL processes, migrating legacy reporting infrastructure from SAS to a modern tech stack (Python, Dataiku, Snowflake)
- Assess data integrity and resilience, validate assumptions, and document end-to-end reporting processes
- Develop compelling visualizations and presentations to convey insights and project progress
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics and reporting
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and SAS
- Experience working with ETL processes and data validation
- Advanced MS PowerPoint presentation skills
- Familiarity with Dataiku or similar data pipeline tools
- Proven ability to apply statistical techniques to business problems
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Nice-to-Have
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, or Computer Science
- CMA or MBA preferred
- Advanced Excel skills, including macros, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP
- Experience with Tableau or similar visualization tools
