Your New Role

As a Senior Application Developer specializing in Java and Web Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in building, testing, and deploying scalable, distributed applications for a major capital markets project. Working in a hybrid environment, you'll collaborate with experienced teams to deliver mission-critical solutions that drive compliance and operational excellence.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• 5+ years as a Senior Developer in enterprise environments
• Advanced Java development and some Python
• Experience building, unit testing, and productionizing scalable, distributed applications
• Understanding of messaging systems (e.g. Solace)
• Knowledge of data storage, ETL, and data engineering approaches
• Ability to handle large data sets in batch and real-time environments
• Experience with enterprise integrations with vendor applications
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux
• Business knowledge in Capital Markets (asset classes, products)
• Familiarity with compliance products (AML, Trade Surveillance, Supervision)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with surveillance vendor solutions (e.g., SMARTS, Trading Hub)
• Knowledge of workflow engines (e.g., ACTOne, Actimize)
• Understanding of reference data usage across Front, Middle, and Back Office
• Knowledge of transaction lifecycle (order-execution, payment confirmation)
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and Agile methodology
