Our challenge
We are looking for a Ui Angular Developer responsible for building applications that may range from desktop applications to native mobile applications and embedded systems. Candidate primary responsibility will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.
Additional Information
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto, ON is CAD $110K - CAD $120K/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Develop robust and scalable web applications using Angular.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly interfaces.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Angular and web development.
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Work in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Angular Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
- Experience with Angular (version 8 or above) and its core principles.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Gulp, etc.).
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma) is a plus.
Preferred skills:
- Experience in Angular-JS, micro frontends.
- Knowledge in financial services.
- Knowledge in containerized systems architecture such as Kubernetes and Docker.
