Position: Strategic Account Manager - Dealer and Institutions
Location: Remote - West Coast preferred (Calgary or Vancouver)
Travel: Approximately 25-30%, including overnight travel and some weekends for industry events
Our client, a well-established player in the professional health products and solutions sector, is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to support growth in Western Canada. This role is ideal for a self-motivated B2B sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment, and is comfortable working with distributor networks and institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributor partners and institutional accounts within the assigned territory.
- Territory Growth: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities by working through dealer networks and collaborating with their field sales teams.
- Client Engagement: Represent the company at regional and national industry events, supporting brand visibility and building new partnerships.
- Internal Collaboration: Coordinate closely with internal sales, operations, and marketing teams to deliver client solutions and meet business targets.
- Training & Education: Offer guidance, education, and support to channel partners and end users, both virtually and in-person.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on sales activities, account health, and performance metrics to support strategic decision-making.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2-5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally within professional services, healthcare, life sciences, or product-based industries.
- Experience selling through dealer or distributor channels; confident engaging with large, complex accounts.
- Proven success in new business development and territory expansion.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote field-based role with strong virtual collaboration.
- Willing and able to travel regularly within the region (approx. 25-30%), including occasional weekends for events.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice-to-Have:
- Background in regulated or consultative product sales (e.g., health products, medical, pharma, or other complex B2B environments).
- Experience supporting institutions, large buying groups, or government organizations.
- Comfort speaking at industry events or delivering client training sessions.
