Job Description:

We're looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager (Retail & Wholesale) to lead our sales strategy, drive revenue, and grow our customer base across multiple channels. You'll focus on increasing in-store performance, building wholesale relationships, and managing promotional activity to meet and exceed targets. This role includes overseeing store operations and leading a team to deliver a top-tier customer experience that reflects our brand values.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy & Growth

- Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.

- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reporting with actionable insights.

- Identify key drivers of performance and implement solutions to improve conversion and revenue.

- Manage promotional activities and pricing strategies in alignment with business goals.

- Collaborate with marketing to ensure consistency between sales tactics an brand campaigns.

  1. Wholesale & Pop-up Development

- Identify and secure new wholesale accounts through proactive outreach, relationship-building, and networking with like-minded retailers, showrooms, and buyers.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners to ensure ongoing success, including consistent communication, timely order fulfillment, and strategic product recommendations based on sales trends and seasonal demand.

- Oversee wholesale operations: linesheet distribution, order intake, invoicing, shipping, and post-sale follow-up.

- Monitor performance with wholesale partners and make suggestions for replenishment or assortment opportunities.

- Strategically research, plan, and execute branded pop-up events, whether standalone or with external partners.

- Handle logistics for pop-ups, including venue sourcing, merchandising, staffing, sales tracking, and reporting

- Analyzing the performance of each pop-up and wholesale channel to refine future activations and improve ROI

  1. Customer Service & Relationship Building:

- Be present in the store on weekdays and high foot traffic days (Saturdays and/or Sundays)

- Ensure a seamless and positive customer experience, addressing complaints, returns, and exchanges with empathy and efficiency both online and in-store

- Foster long-term relationships with customers to encourage brand loyalty and repeat business.

- Train staff on customer service best practices and conflict resolution techniques.

  1. Team Leadership & Staff Development

- Recruit, train, supervise, schedule, and evaluate retail staff.

- Set and review staff performance goals, providing feedback and development opportunities.

- Motivate staff to meet and exceed sales targets through coaching and team-building activities.

- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.

  1. Visual Merchandising & Inventory Management

- Oversee store merchandising updates based on sales data and seasonal trends, pivoting when necessary.

- Ensure accurate pricing, signate, and product labelling.

- Manage inventory levels and replenishment to support sell-through

- Maintain visual standards and cleanliness in line with brand guidelines.

  1. Administrative & Financial Oversight:

- Ensure order fulfillment is executed in a timely and accurate manner for both customer and influencer shipments

- Assist in closing procedures at the end of each shift where needed

- Oversee cash handling, store banking procedures, and financial reconciliations.

- Ensure compliance with retail policies, safety regulations, and loss prevention strategies.

- Prepare and manage store budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Strong interest in retail management, sales strategy, and customer experience.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to organize, multitask, and manage time effectively.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for tracking sales and inventory.

- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
