Plant Operations Manager - Highly Engineered Plastics Manufacturing

Our client is a leading manufacturer of highly-engineered plastic products primarily serving the automotive industry. They are seeking a Plant Operations Manager to own the P&L and bring in an increased level of professionalism at their northeastern GTA facility. This position will manage all operations across the production floor and will work closely with the executive leadership team to fulfil company objectives while maximizing profitability and efficiencies.

We are seeking a data-driven, hands-on operations leader to oversee and coordinate daily operations and process improvement activities while challenging the status quo and building upon the company's successes. This position will be responsible for effectively planning, directing, and coordinating all manufacturing and production operations. This is a true "roll up your sleeves" environment, with complex domestic manufacturing. The ideal candidate may have previous injection moulding experience and will have managed within Industrial Manufacturing, Specialty Automotive Manufacturing, Precision Consumer Durables, or other industries that adhere to stringent regulatory requirements.

This role requires 5+ years management experience, strong communication skills and a background in continuous improvement methodology (Lean/Six Sigma). The Plant Operations Manager must be able to multi-task and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment while analyzing production and driving performance improvement initiatives.
