We are seeking a Junior Inventory Analyst to support materials management and inventory optimization for a leading energy company. This role is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of experience in inventory control, SAP MM, or materials coordination who wants to grow their career in supply chain and logistics within the oil & gas sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing inventory levels and tracking material movements using SAP MM.
- Support Material Master data maintenance, updates, and corrections in SAP.
- Help analyze slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend disposal strategies.
- Work with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure accurate stock records.
- Assist in generating inventory reports and KPI tracking.
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Learn and follow best practices for spare parts management (mechanical, electrical, piping, etc.).
- Support process improvements for better inventory accuracy and efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in inventory management, materials coordination, or SAP MM support (industrial, energy, or manufacturing background preferred).
- Basic knowledge of SAP MM transactions (goods movements, stock transfers, reporting).
- Understanding of inventory control principles (min/max levels, stock replenishment).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate with stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have (Not Mandatory):
- Exposure to maintenance or plant operations (turnarounds, shutdowns, or spare parts).
- Experience with data uploads in SAP (Excel-based or migration tools).
- Familiarity with oilfield materials (valves, pumps, fittings, electrical components).
