THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking an experienced Manager of Programs to oversee innovation-driven programs focused on advancing housing solutions. This role is responsible for guiding cross-sector initiatives, ensuring successful project delivery, supporting effective investment decisions, and building strong partnerships across the ecosystem. The position plays a critical role in driving outcomes that align with broader organizational goals and sector-wide impact.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with organizations participating in proposals and approved projects.
- Providing oversight and guidance to project teams, supporting successful delivery of expected outcomes through contracting, reporting, claims, and ongoing engagement.
- Monitoring financial and non-financial progress, facilitating issue resolution, and maintaining regular communication with project teams to ensure positive engagement.
- Ensuring project teams are adopting and complying with organizational policies and processes.
- Gathering learnings and feedback from project teams to drive continuous process improvements for project-related policies, processes, and procedures.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to support member engagement, external communications, and internal reporting.
- Performing other duties as required to support the success of programs.
PROGRAM-SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Project Oversight: Leading the coordination, oversight, and reporting of projects to ensure alignment with program goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitating communication and collaboration among program participants, industry members, and external partners.
- Program Development: Supporting the Director in launching and managing new initiatives, including grant writing, coordinating calls for proposals, planning for monitoring and evaluation, and helping define related policies.
- Ecosystem Building: Creating opportunities for new and prospective organizations to engage in program initiatives; participating in both internal and external industry events to support sector growth.
- Process Improvement: Gathering feedback from project teams to support continuous improvement of program-specific processes and policies.
- Grant & Proposal Support: Providing administrative support for grant submissions, proposal calls, and evaluation activities.
- Reporting & Outcomes: Preparing regular updates on program portfolio progress, key outcomes, and challenges for the Director and other stakeholders.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Background in program management and project coordination.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and people skills.
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Comfortable using office tools such as Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
- Experience collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and teams.
- Interest in housing innovation, growth strategies, and the objectives of the HGI program is a plus.
