Our client, a well-established general contractor with nearly 30 years in the industry, is seeking a Senior Site Superintendent to lead large-scale tenant improvement (TI) projects across the Lower Mainland. This role is ideal for a seasoned leader with experience overseeing TI projects in the $10M-$15M+ range, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all on-site activities from mobilization to turnover, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality standards are met
- Coordinate all subtrades, materials, and equipment on site
- Work closely with the Project Manager and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication between office and field
- Maintain accurate site documentation including daily reports, safety logs, and progress tracking
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and municipal officials
- Drive project performance while mentoring junior site staff as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 5 years as a Site Superintendent
- Proven track record delivering large-scale TI projects ($10M-$15M+) on time and on budget
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, safety procedures, and subtrade management
- Experience working in live, occupied environments and with corporate clients (e.g., office, retail, or institutional interiors)
- Proficient in Procore, Site Docs, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Teams
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to represent the company professionally on complex, high-profile sites
