Location: Guelph- Cambridge -Kitchener, ON area

Base Salary: 110K-125K base +bonus benefits

5 days a week on Site

Day shift

Monday -Friday

• Minimum Experience Required (MUST have): Manager / leadership experience in custom metal fabrication under the Canadian Health & Safety Requirements MUST be close to 7-10 years

Our client is a leading manufacturer of custom equipment manufacturing for mining and similar applications and have a job open for Production Manager - Welding Fabrication Shop Foreman

for custom machinery manufacturing to oversee Production, Material & Production Planning , H&S, Shipping and work closely with Quality & Engineering. Hands on Fabrication / machining/ welder experience with 10+ years in running fabrication shops under Canadian H&S requirements is a MUST have.

Production Manager - Welding Fabrication Shop Foreman is fully responsible for giving leadership to the two shifts and lead Production Supervisors, to ensure shift productivity , material labour usage, capacity optimization and work closely with HR, Quality, H&S,and over see the plant shop floor -CNC Lathe, Cutting , bending welding within this custom fabrication plant and be responsible for Production Planning, Production scheduling , Material Planning and supervision. You will be responsible for scheduling, safety, performance management, coaching and mentoring. You will oversee the production budget and work along Quality & Plant Engineering Process Improvement, Continuous Improvement lean initiatives.

Production Manager - Welding Fabrication Shop Foreman will ideally have 10+ years as welder/ welder fitter/ machinist with 10+ years as shop foreman / Production Manager / a minimum of 7-8 years' leadership experience as Production manager / Plant manager within Canadian Health & Safety requirements within custom machining welding metal fabrication. Hands-on welding experience / experienced welder (MIG TIG ) with leadership / management/ team lead experience highly preferred.
