Your New Role
As a Project Architect, you will play a key role in shaping impactful projects from concept through completion. You'll lead the resolution of complex technical challenges, mentor team members, and contribute to the creation of high-quality, culturally resonant designs. There is also the opportunity to take on project management responsibilities if desired.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical reviews of architectural and consultant drawings, providing detailed mark-ups and feedback.
- Lead the resolution of technical challenges through collaboration, code research, and application of architectural experience.
- Produce high-quality architectural designs, including drawings, details, and specifications.
- Participate in design meetings with clients and consultants.
- Mentor and support team members, including project managers and architectural designers.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders.
- Perform architectural calculations and design analysis as needed.
- (Optional) Manage projects and teams, overseeing budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Minimum 10 years of architectural experience, with at least 5 years using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Master's degree in Architecture.
- Registered with the Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently resolve technical issues.
- Proficient in interpreting and applying building codes and bylaws.
- Skilled in producing accurate and detailed construction drawings.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience in wood design and construction is an asset.
- Proficiency in Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 (Compensation based on experience, skillset, and qualifications)
