Job Description

Position: Restaurant Manager

Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Compensation: $34.70 per hour
Working hours: hours per week
Benefits: 4 % of vacation pay / Free meals at work and tips
Job Duties
Hire, train, and develop all restaurant staff and conduct performance reviews
Direct, organize, evaluate, and implement operational procedures for the restaurant
Ensure that health and safety regulations and provincial liquor legislation are followed
Control and order food and beverage supplies and inventory, and monitor food preparation and methods
Provide customer service and resolve customer complaints or concerns
Plan and coordinate with suppliers to maintain food, inventory, and other supplies
Organize marketing initiatives, such as special restaurant events and promotions
Develop marketing strategies by utilizing social media networks
Maintain work schedules, process payroll, and balance cash
Provide administrative support in developing budgets and completing balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
Monitor revenues and costs of products and services
Ability to work shifts (day, evening, night, and/or weekends)

Requirements
Completion of Secondary School.
Minimum 3 years of work experience in a restaurant supervisory role
Restaurant management experience in a high volume, fast paced food service environment is an asset
