About the role
Are you a construction expert looking to leverage your skills in a rewarding, less physically demanding role? We're seeking an experienced appraiser to join our growing team as a Property Construction Appraiser, Large Loss!

What You'll Do:
Inspection and Estimation:
Conduct thorough inspections of major building damage.
Determine the cause of loss and provide detailed cost estimates for restoration, repair, or replacement.
Establish rebuilding costs with precision and accuracy.
Technical Support and Negotiation:
Offer your construction expertise to support internal and external claims adjusters.
Engage in negotiations with contractors to finalize restoration cost agreements.
Manage customer complaints related to the quality of repairs and restoration.
Auditing and Compliance:
Audit estimates and work performed by contractors/restorers to ensure compliance with our high standards and policies.
Address any issues regarding work quality, costs, and restoration methods.

Salary of the successful candidate will typically be positioned between the following range, taking into consideration a number of factors including prior experience, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, location and internal equity:
$70,200.00 - $105,200.00
