JOB DETAILS:

Journeyman Electrician with Red Seal Certification

Two Locations: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and Bridgewater, Nova Scotia

Wage: $47.70/hour + additional hourly premiums

Employment Type: Full-time

Shift Timings: Monday to Thursday - 7 am to 5 pm, on Friday's only - 7

am to 3 pm and additional OT over weekends based on operations

MGR Workforce is hiring skilled Red Seal Journeyman Electricians for long-term outdoor construction projects in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This role is ideal for certified electricians who are experienced in outdoor work environments and looking to join a reliable, safety-focused team.

Compensation Package:

Base Wage: $47.70/hour

+ $2.87/hour Vacation Pay

+ $0.95/hour Holiday Pay

+ $3.97/hour Benefit Pay

+ $7.79/hour Pension Pay

Job Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair outdoor electrical systems, including utility connections, temporary power, and exterior lighting

Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics

Pull wire, bend conduit, and complete terminations

Perform work in all weather conditions while adhering to safety standards

Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing equipment and tools

Ensure compliance with provincial electrical code and site safety policies

Collaborate with other trades and communicate progress with supervisors

Requirements:

Must have valid Red Seal Journeyman Electrician Certification

Must be registered in the Red Seal trade

Must have 3 5 years of electrical experience, preferably in outdoor or construction settings

Ability to work in changing weather, at heights, and around heavy equipment

Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Must have own PPE: hard hat, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots, gloves, safety glasses

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred
