3rd Year Electrical Apprentice

Two Locations: Bridgewater and Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
Wage: $31.00/hour + additional hourly premiums

Compensation Package:
Base Wage: $31.00/hour

+ $1.86/hour Vacation Pay
+ $0.62/hour Holiday Pay
+ $3.97/hour Benefit Pay
+ $5.06/hour Pension Pay

Job Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of outdoor electrical systems (e.g., temporary power, lighting systems)
Read and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Pull wire, run conduit, and support electrical terminations
Work safely and efficiently in all types of weather conditions
Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and basic repairs under supervision
Maintain clean and organized workspaces and follow all safety protocols
Communicate with journeymen and site supervisors to ensure tasks are completed properly and on time

Requirements:

Registered as a 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice in Nova Scotia
2 3 years of relevant electrical experience
Comfortable working in outdoor construction environments
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
Must supply own PPE: hard hat, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots, gloves, safety glasses
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
