Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support business and technology teams in delivering critical initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis within financial services, with exposure to Salesforce considered a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for development teams.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations with business and IT stakeholders.
- Develop process flows, use cases, user stories, and data mapping documentation.
- Support testing efforts, including test planning, scripting, and defect management.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure solutions align with business goals and compliance requirements.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
- Strong understanding of banking and financial services processes.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall project environments.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with Salesforce CRM (especially in a financial or client onboarding context).
- Knowledge of regulatory or compliance-related banking initiatives (e.g., KYC, AML).
- Technical understanding of data mapping, APIs, or system integrations.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid work model: 3 days onsite in Toronto office, 2 days remote.
